Coming Soon...(?)

It really is amazing what they will make a board game about, isn't it? Even incredibly mundane activities such as stacking crates in a warehouse, building monasteries, farming, and gardening have been turned into entertaining (and not so entertaining) board game experiences. So, I suppose it comes as no surprise to see that KO Games (publishers of the incredibly successful award-winning drinking game Popup Pappy's Moonshine Mayhem) have just announced the release of Hoover That Shit. Apparently, it plays a bit like Avalon Hill's Advanced Squad Leader while incorporating several of the dungeon-crawling tactical features of Fantasy Flight Games Descent: Journeys in the Dark.

Here's a sneak peek.

(Okay, I'll be honest. Hoover That Shit doesn't exist - and hopefully never will. This is actually a photograph of my motley gaming crew, taken by my long-suffering wife. The embellishments have been provided by a good friend of mine. His name has been changed to protect the not-so-innocent, but for the sake of convenience we'll call him James Lloyd - he's the one on the right. There is actually a story behind this bizarre creation, but I think it's probably best not to talk about it.)
